Premise brings people together for guided, in-person conversations about life’s big questions. Each session starts with a short reading or film and opens into meaningful dialogue and real connection.
A Year of Experimentation
The 2026–2027 year has been one of intentional experimentation at Premise. We launched in-person sessions in 23 communities across the U.S., making it possible for hundreds of people to gather for meaningful, guided conversations about big life questions.
What We Learned
We are deeply grateful to the Chapter Leaders who raised their hands to bring Premise to their communities, and we learned so much from this first year of growth.
One clear lesson emerged: participants want more sustained connection and deeper exploration. In response, we created and launched Premise Pods in Portland, Oregon in spring 2026, co-designed with 20 members of the Premise community.

In 2027, we aim to bring Pods to more communities across the country.
To do that well, we need to invest in comprehensive Chapter Leader training and thoughtful marketing so we can maintain the quality and care that make Premise conversations work.
